Hey guys, Visiting Rome and looking, as the saying goes. Good places to see and be seen. Not a drinker here and a little on the old side for bars. Cheers-

Italians do the passegiata after dinner, that is, get dressed up and go for a stroll. One of the best and prettiest places to do this in the Piazza Navona. Ancient palaces and churches surround an oval piazza with lot of pleasant places to have a beer or mineral water.

It has many ancient monuments, interesting medieval churches, beautiful fountains, museums, and Renaissance palaces. Modern Rome is a bustling and lively city and has some excellent restaurants and nightlife. The Vatican and St. Peter's are also found in Rome.

...just walk the entire city and discover it on foot (it is not overly hard to do) - suggest you start from Vatican City - walk back over the Tiber - and just explore...

One of the best piazzas is is the Piazza del Popolo - and a walk from the Spanish Steps to this piazza would have to be one of the great walks to do ever -

for walking guides, here's just one of 'em
