Here's a scene from The Roseanne Bar show that pretty much describes our current political and economic situation.
It's so spot on, it's almost eerie.

The reason it's so dead on - is because it was filmed during the Bush Sr. recession during the Bush Sr. administration.
The same failed Repub policies were in place then - with the same lousy results - that we got during the Bush Jr. administration.

And the Repubs are STILL pushing the same pile of shit economics policies that they've been pushing for the last 30 years - and that have caused every recession for the last 30 years.

They just don't learn from their mistakes.
We need to keep them from getting back in power and making the same mistakes ALL OVER AGAIN.

Yes but what is happening in America now, Obama has to claim, and stop blaming Bush. OMG you guys should be screaming like wet cats at Obama demanding what he is doing to fix it.

    What mistakes?
For Republicans, wrecking the economy isn't a bug, it's a feature.

You know, I was never over the top impressed with "Roseanne," but when I watch this, I actually have a new appreciation for the show.

Indeed, the show really did depict the struggles of the lower-middle class American family...something that in it's day, none of the other shows really touched too much upon.

If only things could be so logical for most people at this day and age, there might be an opportunity to set in motion the changes that will ensure the USA remains a great nation, well into the future!

    LOL...and I have to say, that politician must've been a Democrat. ;)

After all, if he were a Republican, he'd be better able to answer that question about who will end up paying the taxes the businesses aren't paying without honestly admitting that the poor and middle class will have to pay them! LOL
