I can tell you this much...it's not Phoenix, Boston, Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco.

I grew up in Chicago and left it out because I don't quite remember how the gay guys were. I don't think I spent a whole lot of time in the bars.

So, in other words, we only count the gay guys in the bars? Try again, douche.

    Seattle guys are pretty friendly.
I haven't had a problem finding friendly guys in San Francisco or LA.
Outside the US, the guys are friendly in Vancouver, Istanbul, Madrid, Barcelona, Lyons.

And with that being (ironically) said, we can definitely take Chicago out of the list of cities with the friendliest gay guys.

I always found the guys in Washington DC to be quite friendly.

    Outside the US I'd add:

    Montreal, Canada
    Melbourne, Australia
    Budapest, Hungary
    Birmingham, UK

It's not the cities that are unfriendly, it's YOU!
If you have to resort to calling another guy f****t, on a gay site of all places, then you have major issues. No wonder you think the guys are unfriendly in those cities.

Except you have to dance to old, dated music like 'My Eyes Don't Cry No More' or 'C'mon Ride The Train'.

You apparently didn't read his comment, Ermine. Anyone that calls someone else a "douche" with no reason when they are having a simple, FRIENDLY conversation is an asshole and it's completely unwarranted....and a comment like that when the thread is talking about "friendly guys" is even more ironic.

His response is a perfect example of the "catty, immature faggots" that are part of our gay community. And that's absolutely what people like that are. Call it "unfriendly" if you want, but why don't you attack the person who caused the problem in the first place instead of insulting the person who created a friendly thread.

There are some asses here. It's best just to ignore them or use the ever so convenient ignore user button. If you want to get into name calling, that's on you.

But here on a gay site, I'd expect people to have more sense than use gay slurs for others. Some people don't. I called you out on it.
Well, danisnotstr8 used the same slur and he's an ass, too.
Do you feel better for me calling both of you asses?
Use of the slur still isn't acceptable, even if other people do it.

Philly, Chicago & Atlanta guys are always very nice. The Chelsea Boys in NYC and Dupont Boys in DC have major attitude and get rid of the 'tude.

I'm gonna be honest here, danisnotstr8, you are the one who sounds like the douche. You're starting shit for absolutely no reason. Is that any way to behave?

Not Charlotte! It's so cliquey here. Everyone stays in their little group and doesn't branch out. There are some great friendly gays here don't get me wrong, but for the most part they are all stuck up and only care about sex, and how someone looks. That's just not me, I judge a person on who they are before anything else.
