Indiana people. I'm looking for a place to stay a weekend sometime in the near future.

I've got a job lined up for me over the summer working at the Indiana Diving Camp in Bloomington. I'll be visiting Indiana during one of the next few weekends to see if I could apply/find some side jobs for the summer and check out the area I'll be living in.

Is there anyone that could host me for a couple of days while I search for work and check out the city? Anyone know what the gay life is like in Indiana or where the hot spots are for hanging out? That would be awesome! Thanks.

Take it from me there ain't nothing northwest indiana can offer you, its dead out here. Only place of interest is obviously Chicago. I'm trying to leave, the moment I get my BA in Technical management I'm leaving.

The Bloomington area is supposed to be nice (good bike-riding, too ["Breaking Away"]), but I've never been there.

    Check out:

    for a possible crash pad.
(Never done that, either, don't think my bf would "rough it", but have friends that swear by it.)

I live in Greensburg, which is 50-70 miles away from Bloomington.I don't know much about Bloomington but as for Greensburg all we have is Wal-Mart and a tree on top the courthouse tower.I know there is a couple gay clubs in Bloomington and it's a sports crazy town (basketball).

Bloomington has a beautiful campus and since it's a college town is probably bit more open minded than most cities in the Hoosier state.
