Hi everybody. (experts especially icon_razz.gif)

Someone has recommended oatmeals to me in order to add more carbs and calories to my diet. It was about a year ago, and since then I'm having about two oatmeals a day - 100 gr each with about half litre of milk.

Now I wonder. Each meal is supposed to give me more than 500 calories (370-400 calories per 100gr of oats plus the milk). But, I still don't feel a change. Does my body digest and absorb all of the calories from these meals? is there a cooking method that can help gaining the max from it?
