I've been a huge Stevie Nicks fan since I was a teenager listening to Rumours. My infatuation with her convinced me I was straight. Is it just me, or is she becoming a gay icon?

I downloaded the CD today and after the first listen, I must admit I'm a little disappointed. But her music usually grows on me and there are many diverse songs with potential (Everybody Loves You, Ghosts are Gone, Wide Sargasso Sea).

this cd is awesome. Her best probably since Wild Heart.

Ill run down a review later but this gets back to old school Stevie, Dave Stewart did an excellent job producing this while not overproducing it like some of her last efforts

Becoming a gay icon??? I always assumed she was.

Stevie is amazing. She has always had a way of making you feel the music, in a way that is completely her. IMHO. icon_cool.gif

Stevie Nicks is such a talented singer songwriter. She's been my idol since I was 12 and I discovered the Fleetwood Mac album with Rhiannon and Landslide in my sister's bedroom. Something about that band and her voice and style sucked me in and I've always felt safe and happy when I have her music on. I honestly feel she is this Angel sent here to comfort her fans in good times and bad.

After the second listen of her new album I was blown away. Her songwriting and voice seem to be at its best and most of the songs are really well produced. I love how it emcompasses all her styles from country rock n roll to classic rock to romantic ballads. She definitely delivered some of her best work in years on this new album and she still looks like a million bucks.

2 close friends of mine here in LA have had the pleasure of meeting her (one backstage at a FM show and the other at her house this year doing press for her new album) and they, like everyone else, say she so sweet and warm to everyone she meets. They say she is so down to earth and she still radiates the most youthful energy in the room. She even went out of her way while backstage after her show to tell my friend and his buddies (who she just met) all about her San Francisco days in the 1960s opening shows for Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix.

Sara is my favorite Stevie Nicks song of all time.

"Hold on the night is coming...and the starling flew for days"

Best song on the cd IMO...Moonlight....its a combo of an old demo "Lady From the Mountain" that has been around for years combined with some newer inspiration from the Twilight movies. Stevie's delivery early in the song is her best since the early 80s..classic and then the song builds to its awesome chorus

This one I love too...."For What Its Worth" a country twang simple song that evokes Landslide

This one..."Soldier's Angel" is just haunting from the opening ominous note and Stevie is joined by Lindsay on this, the two voices together simply brilliant and right. We did not get this on the last Fleetwood Mac cd where it seemed to be two solo records pieced together.

Stevie performed a show a couple weeks back for her birthday and the vids from this concert are amazing. She played tons of new songs and everyone said she had so much energy and emotion. This is Moonlight from the new cd
