What do you think the three best jobs for gay men are?

For me I'd say lawyer, financial advisor, and businessman because they all involve verbal skill (that witty gay humor), presentation (our sense of style), and the ability to control your own schedule (party time). Also, they give you more control over your career trajectory so that you can't end up under some homophobe without power -- they're all results oriented.

(One high school teacher I came out to suggested I should become a florist. I nearly smashed that bitch's face in! First, I'm very butch, second it doesn't require formal education which I planned to get lots of, and third it doesn't pay well. Please no hate mail from florists!)

My first regular guy was a lawyer. He said that the law world isn't a very gay friendly world. He felt it wasn't too accepting and he was pretty masculine. I'm sure opinions may vary.

Are good jobs for gay men different than good jobs for straight men? I think everything is what YOU make of it

Saying that you should become a florist is just as idiotic and homophobic as assuming that all gay guys have "that witty gay humor", great style, and enjoy partying.

Whatever you're happy doing. This is just my opinion and I'm sure some of you will think I'm crazy but I'd never keep a job I'm miserable with even it paid a million a year, it's not worth hating your life everyday you're working. I'd much rather be happy with what I'm doing and enjoy ever day of it, even if it mean being paid much less.

That's it. The gays shouldn't be allowed to be anything else. It just confuses the straights too much.
