Oh... my... gods. How many people saw the new ep?? Looks like this is going to be a good season, esp with all that cylon vs. cylon stuff from the preview.

My final cylon vote goes to Dualla... she's going to jump them into some craaazy shit for damn sure.

Best show on tv. This last season is gonna kill me. I don't even want to speculate on who will be the last cylon, cause I know I'll get it wrong.

Because of the writers strike, there was enough time between seasons 3 and 4 for the Space Channel to rerun all 3 seasons. It' was the only thing keeping me going these past fwe months. icon_biggrin.gif

proclaimed nerd that I am, I've never watched this before this past week. I Tivo'd every episode, since they played them from the begining and I'm halfway through the 2006 season now. The show is much more interesting than I thought with the religion and everything.

Oh, I am NOT deleting the episode where Jamie Bamber almost loses his towel. These SCIFI guys are finally playing to thier gay audiance.

    So, my questions:

    1. What the heck happened to Kara Thrace?
    2. What did Six mean by lobotomizing the raiders? [in the preview for next week]
    3. How are Six and the President sharing dreams? [is this a hint to the final 12th cyclon?

Should be an interesting final season...and then there's CAPRICA...

Just watched the Q&A with Lucy Lawless... she sounded a little drunk (esp after that 2nd question).

Hm... I think Laura started having those dreams after she got some of Hera's blood? That might have given her some inside knowledge/sense about the final 5 that other humans don't get. Or actually... didn't she get the blood transfusion way early on? Maybe it was after she started taking that chamala? I'm confused about this as well.

In terms of the final cylon, it's definitely not Laura since she was in the Last Supper pic.

My inner geek is forcing me to say that this season's gonna be too frakking awesome ! icon_biggrin.gif

Good to know that I wasn't the only one watching the BSG marathon for the last couple of days.

Yeah Vlas, I also think that Dee's the last unknown cylon ...her emotions are just a bit too "toaster"ish to me.

It's kinda unavoidable this time that there will be a gap in the middle, since thanks to the writer's strike, they've only just begun *filming* the latter half of the season now. And post-production takes time, so it would have to be late fall at the earliest before they could be aired. I'm betting Jan-Feb or so. But I'm just glad they ARE getting made... I would hate to have gotten this involved and never know how it ends! icon_eek.gif

Meanwhile, I think this first new episode is awesome, and I'm gonna be savoring it every week! icon_smile.gif

I almost didn't read this thread thinking there will be a few spoilers. lol

Man, I have been waiting for BSG 4th season. So psyched the show is gonna end, yet sad at the same time. Best show ever! Gonna watch the episode today.

And no, Laura is not the 12th cylon, she is "the dying leader" that will lead them to earth. I think so too that she gets those dreams because she got the blood transfusion from Hera.

The human model cylons kind of rule the race. The raiders are the lowest rung, basically sophisticated attack dogs. They probably have the capacity to be as smart as the rest, but are kept in check.

Now that The Wire and Deadwood have ended, BSG is without a doubt the best damn show on television. I don't get TV reception in my house, but I am torrenting the shit out of it right now.

I think you're confusing the "Raider" (the Cylon round-winged fighter) with the "Centurian" (the frakkin' toasters)

I was giddy like a little girl watching the new episode. I'm not going to try to guess too hard---the writers have proven too smart to be obvious. Although I'm more curious what Earth will be like and how it will wrap up.

Unquestionably one of the best shows on television - I just wish it could shake the "nerdy" label.

I also hate how they're splitting up the seasons. If it weren't for my DVR I wouldn't have even seen "Razor".

Anyone else notice in last night's ep, Lee talking to Adama about how if Zak had come back instead of Kara and was a Cylon, would it matter? In my head I replaced "Cylon" with "homo..."

Well, I wouldn't doubt that the raiders are lobotomized to be kept in check as well. And I do remember one episode comparing the raiders to attack dogs.

I saw RAZOR at the movie theatre in Boston. They had a screening of it. It was frakkin awesome (and it was free - I totally would have paid money for it). They should do that stuff more often.

I'm really up in the air about the final Cylon. BSG manages to surprise me, so I'm not even going to guess.

My one point of contention about the human model Cylons.

All the female models are hot - Boomer/Athena, 6, D'anna, Tory.

The males - Dean Stockwell, Tigh, the psycho....

    At least we have Anders.

How does the Last Supper picture have anything to do with it? I am sure there is symbolism there...I just didn't see any discussion about it...

I'm hoping that it'll be our Earth. I wouldn't mind a harem of the Doral model! icon_razz.gif
