One advantage of not having a tv would be to never see the Glen Beck show. Oh, except on idiocy like this on YouTube.

Ah yes, Glee, the tv show that propaganda's acceptance for you no matter who you are, straight, gay, an athlete or in a wheelchair. That everyone has something that makes them a little special. We shouldn't have evil shows like that, we should have more shows about fighting and about hating each other. Maybe a Phelps Family afterschool special

His views, and his prop television set, are decades in the past. Who will watch once he scares his aging demographic to death?

Glenn Beck lives in a continual paranoid nightmare.

    The man has no serenity.

You know, Im not going to watch that clip. it´s kinda obvious what he´s going to say, and i find his style and substance actually clinically insane. The man is tethered to reality by only the thinest of chains.

A few weeks ago, I was waiting in an office building lobby where a tv set was playing Glenn Beck's show, and he was going on and on about Obama's secret armies (thousands of trained and armed men living in secret facilities somewhere) that were about to take over the country when Obama declared martial law, and it would be the end of America as a democracy.
Oh, and he was sobbing through most of this rant. icon_rolleyes.gif
By the way, if you have any experience with mentally ill people, this is the EXACT kind of delusion they fixate on and imagine is real.
I am astonished that people watch this guy. I feel like America has become two countries... (1) the fairly normal people and (2) the stupid people.

What's with the 1950's TV set?

Something to do with GB's psychological manipulation of his cult followers?

Beck's losing favor, even with the right wing. His obvious mental illness that, amazingly, wasn't that obvious to many on the right until recently (so they claim, they just want the wingnut vote) is now seen as a liability rather than an asset. He'll always make headlines, but his days of being taken seriously, if they ever existed, are over.

Watch him like a hawk, but don't loose too much sleep on Glen Beck.

Don't forget the third group... (3) people who look great in a T-shirt!.. I'm just sayin'

Yeah, this guy is a total loon. And he's biting the hand that feeds him. Glee is one of the biggest revenue streams that Fox owns... what a Pnub.

I love Glen Beck, its a game for me to sit down and watch an see how long he rambles about absolutely nothing before he gets to the point. This video for instance, avoid the first 3 min and 40 sec, which is just him contradicting himself saying he likes Glee but its a nightmare of propaganda. I'm no fan of Glee and I'll probably never watch an episode BUT I'll take Glee of Glen Beck any day.

By the way, Beck is on to something. "Glee" is downright preachy, and it is definitely trying to undermine the way teens define themselves, especially gender-wise. I say, more propaganda, Glee! Set us free!

Oh, and to the poster above, yeah, it's definitely not about making serious music. It's about the joy of performing music, so take it for what it's worth, and enjoy your propaganda with the spoonful of sugar.

WTF is he talking about? I'm not sure what his point is... Then again, does he ever know what he's talking about?

That was the first time I ever listened to Glenn Beck. It will be the last, I hope. What did he have to say? He just filled the segment with fluff as he read his teleprompter for five minutes. I'd like my five minutes back. If you're going to speak to a group - learn to give them something of substance. Don't waste peoples' time, Mr. Beck.
