Because you are in the 40 and over crowd. Therefore some of these muscle guys in their 20s and even early 30s are not interested. In their book, 40 is considered over the hill. Unfortunate but true.

Not everyone has to find everyone else hot.

Why, oh why, would you worry about what boys want? Men is where it's at.

I don't believe 40 is over the top. In Florida, 'muscle boys' go up as far as 45 and 50. Well, you live in Oklahoma City. That's kind of conservative place.

Denver has a small but existent muscle boy scene here. The only muscle guys I'd run into in Dallas were either dancers or at the gym...midwest is very limited.

Try this video: Takes place in San Francisco...

A lot of guys are intimidated by (or just not attracted to) freaky big steroided muscle guys.
And, you look like the "bear" type.
Some guys aren't attracted to that.

He doesn't look a a bear type to me. They normally are hairy (ish) and have big bellies and most but not all have little to no muscle at all.. imho
The OP doesn't look like that

many gay guys (esp those in their 20's and 30's) have been brainwashed into thinking single digit body fat is the ONLY way to be.

Wow, I didn't know that, it makes me a little seared of my 40's but at the same time you never know with guys these days. I feel like standers are set so high that the smallest thing can be a turn off, hair where or where it should or should not, what you wear, or even the color of your eyes. I mean its so much harder to find someone interested now a days. Don't get me wrong, it's not wrong to have stander( well at lest in my option) but there is standers and there is being overly picky.

    Agree w/ above.

The only opinion that matters is the person you're dating. Who the hell cares if a thousand other else finds you attractive?

The more important question to ask is why do you look like your about the throw up in your photos... and why no smile?

You look hot, but there are a lot of other factors which might be in play.

How is your personal hygiene and dental hygiene?
Might you have any personality or social style challenges to address?
Do you have any habits which might be off-putting?
Have you tried meeting the kinds of guys you're attracted to in locations other than in the gym?

I'm not saying that you may be hampered by any of the above. I'm just saying that you might want to ask really close and trusted friends for some candid and honest feedback to either confirm or dispel any of the above factors which might be opportunities for growth.

Best of luck in your quest to be the best you that you can be!

    Aloha and Be Well!

These muscle boys you speak of probably find no one hot. Except for maybe themselves.

Probably they do. They are just jealous and hate to admit it. Don't loose any sleep over it.
