Trollileo saidAs much as I hate Justin Bieber, he is a fellow artist. No artist should ever have to go through that on stage regardless of how bad their music is or how much they need to go through puberty.
Agree. Bieber doesn't perform music I like, but what's that got to do with ridiculing him? Apparently he's got a big fan base, so let them be happy with him, and enjoy his work, even if I have no personal interest in it. I see no harm in him, and my own musical preferences are not a basis on which to throw eggs.
I'll tell you who I wanted to ridicule badly one time: Madonna. When she started an outdoor concert a full 2 hours late, 10 PM instead of 8, and I was freezing in unseasonably cold Miami weather. I would gladly have pelted her with eggs, but her fanatical fans seemed unfazed, and I was told the delay was expected of her. EXPECTED??? EXCUSE ME??? I was college-trained in theatre that the performer served & pleased the audience, not the other way around.
I've been to concerts by Cher, Bette Midler, Liza Minnelli, and many others, and they ALL began on time, like clockwork. And those are performers I admire & respect, even if I have selected artistic criticisms about some.
But unless somebody really doesn't deliver on stage, or somehow is a total jerk, I simply don't throw things or yell insults. In fact, I've never thrown things at the stage, ever. How childish is that?
