Next up, Red State douche bag and CNN contributor Erick Erickson:

Red StateI’m sure someone will have a breakdown of the amount of self congratulation in this speech, but tonight let’s just be happy that Osama Bin Laden has already found out that there aren’t going to be any virgins.

    And Michelle Malkin...

Michelle MalkinLeftists are swarming Twitter to chastise any conservatives who dare give any credit to President Bush for his resolve and role in leading the post-9/11 counterrorism/national security response to the worst attack on American soil.

Meanwhile, Democrat hacks are burning the midnight oil making this All About Obama.

It begins: “New DNC chief: Obama deserves credit for bin Laden killing.”

A Huffington Post reporter gloats: “Chants of ‘four more years!’ in front of WH.”

College kids in front of the White House are chanting “Yes We Can!” according to a beaming CNN reporter.

Spotted at the White House gathering: “Latinos for Obama” sign.

I guess Bush landing on an Aircraft Carrier to celebrate our "victory" wasn't at all political. icon_rolleyes.gif

I don't know why I should even bump your silly little thread, but Bush was not involved with that Mission Accomplish poster. It was put up by the military guys. Anyway, this is a bone you guys are hoping will change Obama's extremely poor poll numbers, dissatisfaction with the direction of the country, gas prices. That's why the RJ liberals have been particularly angry lately. Might give him a bump in the polls for a while, but that is all. Gas prices, etc, high. You all will have many reasons to stay angry.

I am sure a small minority will spend time on who gets credit, or who is not giving credit to Obama.

He deserves credit as its was a risky operation. Thats it simple.

There are a bit more serious implications than raking over political coals.

Yes. If only the Republican Party was interested in those "serious implications."

    A) None of us liberals is angry. I don't know why you radical right wing apologists persist with this nonsense. Oh, silly me, it's because you're parroting the Faux News talking points.

    B) Do you guys have a candidate with higher poll numbers than Obama ? I didn't think so.

Somebody's still living in 2008, it seems.

http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_17979140"Their courage and their determination brought us justice," Palin said of those who hunted the terrorist figurehead for nearly 10 years. "They know that freedom isn't free. It's a God-given right and worth fighting for."

Palin never mentioned President Barack Obama by name — instead saying, "We thank President (George W.) Bush for having made the right calls to set up this victory."
