I meet someone this week. I don't know how but I felt in love so quickly. I'm usually the cynical and I push guys away and I am very hard to get.

But with this guy I feel no regret, no pressure. I feel so good just watching him and he makes me feel amazing.

I think I have began something that will last forever, it doesn't matter if we've just meet

    That's great. I don't know that it's love, but it's still great.

You may have affection and care for the guy, but I don't know if you have love without having had time to know him.

You met this week? Like this morning?

I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. I fall in love way to quickly, and have been burned for it every single time... maybe one of the reasons I fall in love so quickly, is that I have never had a boyfriend, or a relationship, or a partner, what ever you want to call it, and when I do find somone that pays me the slightest attention, and he's anywhere near the type of guy I like, I jump into it too fast.... the inevitable outcome being that he leaves, very quickly, and I am crushed...

Love is a mysterious thing. Sometimes you feel it and other times you don't even if it's still there. If I was you I would ask myself.

    1 Do I love him?

If you Can't give a for sure yes then it's most likely not true love.

2 Would you do anything within your power, even if it means losing him to someone else you think that would make him more happy then you can make him?

A good example of this is phantom of the opera, he give his love away to the man she loves and sacrifices his happiness to make her happy.

The first one is subjective depending on the situation but the 2nd has always been my foolproof method to determine if I loved someone. Hope that helps. Good look on finding love !

Usually that immediate connection is just lust, but if it's strong enough it may keep you together until you actually fall in love. Experiencing the same feelings you are having, we met September 26 and exchanged rings November 1...and that was 41 years ago last November.

I have only fallen in love once, but I've caught myself at least twice more right before going over the edge! :O (I'd realized cerebrally that it wasn't a good idea, either because of the person or the timing.) For me, it's been preceded by a period of getting to know the person as a friend, and then there's been that moment, as described by Blaine on "Glee:"

"Kurt, there is a moment where you say to yourself: ‘Oh, there you are. I’ve been looking for you forever.’"

My situation is quite the opposite. I tend to take it slow (too slow sometimes) and keep distance, to avoid getting my heart broken. But this time is different, so much different in such an amazing way.
