So this is my rant for the day.

Apparently I am too black to be talked to or even acknowledged. This coming from a white guy in AZ. I've tried to look past the whole race/color discussion but it is really hard when almost every other race looks at you wrongful because of the stereotype that is placed upon us. I'm not the kind of guy that let's things like stereotypical bs and ignorance bring me down nor sway the way I viewed the world. It just amazes me still when I hear/ read shit like this. I surely hope this guy falls for a guy too dark for him.

Hope you guys share you experiences in rants or any other way possible. Doesn't have to stay on this topic, just rant.

FYI I acknowledge you Blacky Arizona guy. icon_cool.gif Are "they" stereotyping you because "your people" killed Osama Bin Laden? You should tell them to thank you for that.

    Couple of thoughts..
    - You're trying to talk to the wrong guys.
    - Get out of Arizona and move somewhere that appreciates diversity.

FYI I acknwlodge you Blacky Arizona guy. But Arizona is a Republican state ruled by tanned old White people who don't want to admit they'll lose control in another 10 years. Get out of there if you can. If not, well then...feh. White guys don't go for Blacks more than Black guys don't go for Whites. And sexual racism leads to racism in general in the gay community because shallow White gays like to affiliate with people they find sexually attractive.

When making this forum post, you were one of the first people who ame to mind that would start their comments off like this. No I am not one of those people that thinks that. Not all people do hate... I figured that AZ is an all blah blah blah politicsthispoliticsthatwhiterepublicanrightwingedbullshitbullshitbullshit whn I moved here 4 years back (trust me I will be moving soon check all of the arizona threads). Glad you posted because part of what you say is what I feel is true. Gays think solely too much on sexual attraction versus actually using a bit of their brain activity. I guess you could say that about guys in general.eh well I will take all of the ugly people as my friends then lol

Yeah I know I need too, just have one semester left before I make that step. It's funny because I feel more welcomed at home in the south than I do in the west.

I wonder if you knew about this case of murder of a gay man in 2005? A conviction came in 2008.

Was in Yuma, not Tempe, but I'm told not uncommon throughout the state (Actually personally told by the guy in the movie about the murder, who got the case solved. The trailer is also a pretty good summary of the movie itself)

So I think your plan to move elsewhere is wise. Because not only is your skin color a problem there, as you've told us, but you're also gay.

    Who was this aimed at?

I fall for darkies all the time and they're just as much of a fucking douche bag as White people. Whoever is in power abuses it. Now that I'm seeing Latinos takeover Whites as the leader of the sexual attraction totem pole in Los Angeles, they're acting JUST like the Whites did. When I moved to LA, I was AUTOMATICALLY accepted into all the White Pretty Posses and it made me sick just hanging out with them. Two weeks later I didn't hang out with them anymore. So you're not missing out on much.

Don't even pay that no mind. He probably just jealous. How did that discussion even come up in the 1st place? My response would be, well I'm already here, so if you have an issue with it...too bad. Don't be mad because you think I'm out to get what you 'think' is yours.

    JAKEBENSON saidInb4anotherGAYSDONTLIKEBLACKSflamew4rs

That is so played out and tired. Don't you think that maybe if enough people are saying it that maybe there's something that could be warranting people to talk like this? Rather than address the comment that was made to him, you ignore it and made some smirk comment instead.

Instead of using that worn out, "oh here's another one" try putting yourself in the shoes and look from a different perspective. Just because you happen to not be the same color does not mean it does not exist.

There's no need to underestimate or sweep under the rug the fact that gay people in America draw unnecessary lines between races .So until that stops happening, this topic will come up again, and again, and again, and again, and again.

edit: sorry Jake I miunderstood your reply and realize that I read it wrong. No offense!

I have to watch this movie, that is sad the people gay or straight lack any bit of human compassion towards another person because they are different. I honestly wouldn't know what to do if a friend of mine were to be harmed in anyway because they were different than another person. I haven't seen anything like this in tempe since I've been here but would definitely standup for someone if I did.

Bitch, be quiet. Everytime a race thread comes up you gotta make some sassy ass comment.

That has nothing to do with the topic at hand...

A rants a rant. Still in all it's only one guys opinion of you. Everyone including me even though that's hard to believe has been turned away or put down at least once or more times in their lives. Too skinny etc It's why many decades ago I coined the phrase "C'est la vie"

No, their eyes will probably not get opened. They're going to live their lives as douche bags. The only way to open their eyes is if you try to say something to them. Otherwise, you'll have to do your best to ignore them. Haters gonna hate. You can hope they will change, but unless you try to help them change, chances are they'll stay the same.

A friend where I used to work said that people will find a reason to not like you, even if it's just the color of your shirt.

So don't stop putting your sweet self out there.
