So this sounds like an infomercial but I find it really works. If you cut out all dairy products for 2 weeks you will lose atleast 15 pounds. No milk, no cheese. That shit is so fattening if you cut it out you will lose crazy weight.

I think he was referring to your signature. It's, you know, OUT there. I think he may be unsure which is your point: milk bad or queersunited good.

Is it really guaranteed? What do I get if I try for two weeks and don't lose 15lbs? Are you going to pay me 100 bucks or something? I'm pretty sure I could try that and I wouldn't lose 5lbs, much less 15.

yep and then gain all the weight back once you are satisfied with your results and begin eating dairy again.

NOT ALL DAIRY IS CREATED EQUAL! All those dumb diets lead to nothing but psychological (and sometimes physical) disaster in the long run

The Atkins diet was the worst...and the best way to develop beta-keto acidosis in the long run

    15 pounds of what? water?

it's almost impossible to lose 1 pound a fat a day for 15 days. and if you did, it wouldn't come from cutting out one food group; it would come from doing so many hours of cardio a day that most people would end up in the hospital if they tried it daily for two weeks.

What if you don't eat dairy to begin with?
If you do, then it really depends on what dairy you were eating. Low fat milk and yogurt aren't going to make you fat, but regularly eating ice cream, sour cream, butter, cheese, etc. will.

As for highly accute weight loss I've known many athletes, including myself, who've lost up to 12lbs a week to make weight for competitions. Aside from feeling hungry all the time, as long as you're hydrated with ample amounts of electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals, you can survive with eating very few calories.

Really? I'm lactose intolerant and I must have missed that memo on losing 15lbs by cutting out dairy products.

whoops me bad I thought it was a link to a supposed article to back up the ludicrous claim.

Dairy products contain calories if these calories are excess calories then by not eating any excess calories you will lose weight.

If all you ate was dairy and nothing else but ate within BMR+Activity then you will not get fat, you wont look good or be that healthy long term either tho.

Demonising food is never of any benefit to anyone, if you like it you will fall back to it. If you like pizza just make it healthier and make sure you dont eat excess calories that day if not depravation diets like Atkins mean you will soon slip back to your old ways

About a month ago, I quit eating dairy except for a whey protein shake after my workouts, and my weight hasn't changed. I notice less mucous formation, but that's about it.

thats an indicator of where you are on the lactose tolerance scale. I cant event tolerate that, well not true as I wont quit dairy totaly but I suffer for it and soy protein is so bloody expensive

I always thought lactose intolerance resulted in gastric distress, bloating, and gas. I can digest cheese, no problem. It just makes me have more snot and restricts my breathing a bit. I never considered myself lactose intolerant.

I dropped dairy because I do so much better on a more paleo type diet, and I thought it would be interesting to see how I feel without some of the more problematic agrarian foods. So, I ditched both wheat and dairy, keeping only the whey protein isolate on workout days.

There are only 2 tribes on the planet that are not lactose intolerant and yuo dont remotely resemble either.

Had to double check there as doubted myself but you answered it by putting snot, I wont expand upon where I thought the origin of mucus was but thats why I answered that way.

However, milk being alkaline does have an impact on nasal mucus in some also but that does tend to be more of a mild food alergy

most humans are lactose intolerant, we don't digest the sugar enzyme because we are the ONLY species who drinks another species milk. sick. milk if for babies of that species, when a cow drinks from a womans teet I can reconsider the issue of the sanity of dairy. sorry that came off harsh but its 3am and i cant sleep lol.

that is actually not entirely true... cardio is important but diet is THE most important fact in burning fat! take KETOGENIC DIET for example- it works miracles if u know how to use it and all the competitive bodybuilders use it to cut their fat to the so called minimum! what u do in that diet? u take hardly any carbs- and thats one hell of a food/nutrient group if u ask me, lol
