Initial subject " Is it wrong to dump/refuse to date guys because of what they drive?"

    Kinda obvious troll.

OP gets called, shallow, slut, racist, ugly, told to die etc.

Hypocrite moment: OP's statement is judgemental, albeit not serious, yet OP gets blindly judged by strangers on the internet. If everyone replying to this thread is so high and mighty with perfect values, how do you get off judging a book by its cover?

thanks for coming out and showing your true colors!icon_wink.gif

Whenever I answer a dumb question I like to strip my short direct answer of capitalization and punctuation conventions. It gives it that little extra oomph of "I'm answering your dumb question with the least amount of effort possible".

Success can be translated by many factors not just a ride. I know a surgeon who goes to my gym makes over $400K a year and drives a Tundra... A TUNDRA! and one of my friends is a millionaire and she rather drive her red Mazda 3 instead of a Benz or something more flashier. Some people don't like to waste their earnings on a AMG S65 or DB9, they rather save it for the future and drive something more modest.

To each his own, but you better not start complaining about being single and not being able to find anyone. Admittedly, I'd dump you for being so shallow.

Yes you're completely shallow just like everyone in Toronto Canada! It's just how people get around! If I cured AIDS and drove an explodable 1972 Pinto, how would you value my presence on the planet?

Actually, if you love cars as much as you do , then there's a special respect you have for the craft. Though I admittedly agree that you measuring a man based on the car is shallow, you should find or take them to car shows and show them you love for cars.

I think you just simply don't like him that much. The yaris he drives is just an excuse. (just my speculation.)

I met a guy once who claimed that he really cares about the environment. But when I ask what kind of car he drives, he said a big-ass SUV. icon_confused.gif

^^^True. Successful people don't need to have status symbols for validation. Insecure people do. Maybe the OP is an insecure person and uses status symbols to judge a person's worth. Not to condemn, but just means you are missing out on meeting some quality people if you base your opinion of people on what they drive.
