Love handles

    I've gone from 250 down to 229 and still have a ways to go.
    I weight train 3 days a week for 1 1/2 hours and recently upped my cardio from 1, 30 min to 2 30, min cardio sessions a week, the fat burn cycle on the eliptical.
    I'm loosing weight, fat and titening up everywhere except my lower back. The junk in my trunk is fairly substantial and its starting to look like a big square with my ass, kinda deformed.............LOL
    Any suggestions? I know it's a hard place to hit and loose fat from but any suggestions would be appreciated.

    If you're still making progress, keep doing what you're doing and be patient.
    Lower back fat (aka: love handles) is the hardest to lose.

    PS. I've noticed a significant reduction in back fat since I started doing side planks late last year.

    for mine i thought theyd never go away now there almost gone,..mostly lol but there basically the last thing to go lol

    You can't spot reduce. Will probably be the last thing to go...so keep up the good work and you'll get there. Love handles can be stubborn so you might have to amp up the intensity a bit.

    I think I read somewhere that you'll lose in reverse order of how you gained. The love handles are typically the first place guys store fat which makes them the last part where you'll see results.

    Your face surely must have thinned out a bit by now. Go get yourself a short cut and you'll be looking real good.

    I'm pretty much bald and keep it tightly clipped..........LoL
    Thanks for the advise guys I'll just keep going. I'm hoping increased cardio will do it as well.

    This. You'll just need to get lean enough that your body finally uses/loses the fat there.
