Well, I'd love to have travelled that much. I have an invitation to go to Colombia but I'm waiting until it's safe. Looks like you've been some places that might not be considered safe. Hats off to ya.

By the way, arrogance is not necessarilly a bad thing......just like sarcasm, it can be used in a non offensive way to make a point.....for those among us that are not so touchy...(you gotta wonder why).

Some just can't use arrogance in an effective way cause they have nothng to be arrogant about. Either you got it, or you don't.

I don't know. We only stopped there to go to the American Express office on our way down to St. Tropez.

I left of Monaco, there is a pic of me in my profile on my way to the Casino. It is fun place (IMHO) because there is so much bad taste and gravity defying tits. Yes it is stupidly expensive.

I am completely baffled by that comment. What is it about the short list of countries I've visited that makes you think of me in a flatulent state?

on paper, this sounds like a great thread, especially for me since i live to travel, but ive learned that its not how long your list is of countries you've visited, but WHAT YOU DO WHILE YOU'RE THERE

Hunter9 saidive learned that its not how long your list is of countries you've visited, but WHAT YOU DO WHILE YOU'RE THERE

No kidding. Taking the cumulative amount of time I've spent overseas, my list could be three or four times as long as it is. But I am the kind of person that likes to linger in a place and get to know the locals. If the local bartender knows my name and my drink, I consider that a good sign. I don't like the whistle stop kind of travel that some people do.

"If it's Tuesday, we must be in Morocco."

I've spent an entire week in some places other people have probably visited for an afternoon.
