I'm on vacation until May22nd and I would like to travel to somewhere in the U.S, but I can't seem to decide where to go!

I would prefer a city or cities where the current temperature is above 20C, or 75F..The beach is not a must, but sightseeing would be cool!

    Any suggestions?

NYC? The weather is perfect here at that time, just like you wanted. No beach though icon_neutral.gif. Plenty to see.

If you come to my house, I will gladly set the air conditioning to 75 for a week.

Other than that, see the Boston thread above. Chicago?

I heard through the grapevine that South Florida has nice weather (except for the t-storms/rain today).
And the beach here is not a must...in fact, it's only a small part of everyday life for most people.

Thanks, I'll take into consideration NYC, Boston and Chicago. Yet, I think I'd prefer travelling to Florida in February when it's cold here in Montreal. Although I've already been to Florida several times, I've never gone south beyond Orlando or Tampa, so that's always an option for later..icon_smile.gif

How bout New Orleans? Unfortunately you just missed Jazz Fest (just wrapping up this weekend I believe), which is the best time to go, but New O is always a good time, and very different from anywhere else.

Great music, great food, weird culture, public drunkenness is enouraged - what more do you want?
