Hey, engine wear and tear over time cause the body to not be in the peak performance it was 10, 20 or 30 years ago, so we have to make adjustments.
The OTC metabolic enhancers, at least the safe and effective ones (if they're out there) work, for the most part, but only when you're on them. They won't permanently increase your metabolism.
