I'm 43 and gained about 25 lbs while in school this past year and while caring for my dog who I found out has cancer.
My current weight is 203! I am a newly licensed massage therapist. I feel that if I am fit it would be better for me business wise. I believe one should practice what they preach.

I would like to lose 30-35 lbs. I plan on doing this through diet and exercise (yoga, weight training and cardio). So I guess I am here for any positive feedback, advice, support, inspiration or motivation you guys can spare.

Good point. It would be embarrassing to have a big fat gut bumping up against your clients while you're trying to make them relax.

Is that enough motivation for you? icon_razz.gif

I would say to always weigh every morning, even if you don't think you'll like the results. Set 5 lb increments in weight loss goals. Watching the weight is such a chore so people such as myself. Now I'm pretty much at my perfect weight but I have to watch it all the timeicon_biggrin.gif

odd....I did exactly just that too....lost my Dad and came out and moved.....gained 30+ lbs. ....from 170 up to 203.

I did daily cardio, took ephedra (not the best but like those enadrine but ordered cheap on line) and ate carefully......no bread, desearts,.......lots of water and I am down to 170 now (that is 33 lbs. gone). I was at 166 for a day, but am still heading downward just had a tough week with a loss of a cousin, job stuff.......
But, this is how I did it in 72 days so far.....
    Hope it helps....:-)

Yes it did! Especially the confirmation about cutting bread and dessert. I am sorry to hear of the loss of your family members. I lost my dad too in '09.
I really appreciate your reply. thanks again!
