Having lived in Phoenix, I would have loved to witness the Phoenix Lights in 1997. I like watching documentaries on UFO's --- has anyone ever seen one?

Not exactly "unidentified," but I saw the TR3B up close and personal while flying over the Everglades at night.
It looked exactly like this (not my pic):

I had already read about it and knew to keep the plane off to the side, because flying underneath it would cause the engine to fail (something about strong electromagnetic currents and stuff). There was another guy flying next to me in another plane who also saw it. He woulda freaked out if I hadn't explained what it was to him. icon_lol.gif

Actually, yes. My friend Kristen and I were outside playing tennis in the street one evening when we saw a black disc hovering in the sky above her house. It was just suspended there, and a green light turned on and started spinning around the out the perimiter of the object. It spun faster and faster until it looked like a solid disc of green light surrounded the black object. Then it shot off straight up and vanished. We lived right next to Camp Pendleton Military base, so it coud have just been a government toy. Nobody ever believes us, but at least she and I saw the same thing and have each other to confide in...

That's not a problem among most pilots in Florida.
When I told what I saw, like half the other pilots in the room piped up and said "hey I saw it too, not too long ago."
Turns out it flies regularly around here.

These have been spotted all over the world! I guess they're silent too. Is that really what it's supposed to be?

Good, it's about time. I hope you're a good alien top with four fingers.

Why are aliens so obsessed with Americans? And mainly, you know, marginally retarded Americans. As a rule?

Not "supposed to be" -- it is.
I can't vouch for the lack of noise, though, since the plane I was flying is really loud anyway.

Yes I have, it was flying, unidentified, and it was an object... it was not an alien spaceship (most likely an artificial satellite)

When I was a little kid, I thought I saw one, but I watched way too much TV and had a very active imagination.

It's included in the budget galactic vacation package.

When I was 12. Camping out in a friend's backyard. Late at night we saw a square-shaped object with two flickering lights at the bottom. Didn't seem to be that high up. It hovered for a bit, then sped off into the night.

I think there is a good reason for why so many U.S. citizens report UFO's -

    1. We have freedom to do so, and don't always get censored..
    2. We are technologically advanced to many other countries.
    3. We aren't afraid of being called cray if we see something unusual; and most of us are open minded to the unexplained.
    4. There is a growing use of technology among our citizens that is not available in most societies, and we use it to record, report and discuss.

I saw one last night in my bed under the sheets. I never knew a UFO could make me feel so good. I think tonight I will see another one.....a different one.
