On my way back from Salina to Wichita, the price of gas went down 2 cents a gallon to $3.73 a gallon. Lets hope things really begin to decline and the price of oil continues to move downward!

Any signs of decline in your area?

    I noticed.

It's 4.09 today compared to 4.29 this last week.

    This is why I might get a . . . . Vespaicon_smile.gif

Finally some relief is in sight. I'm really glad I drive a Corolla, I get about 33.7 mpg in town driving. I never completely fill my tank up, I put in the some amount of gas every week and I don't buy anything other than gas at the gas stations.

It peaked at $4.09/gal in my town last week and hasn't budged at the stations that charge that much. I drive a Chevy Malibu, and it cost me $47 to fill the tank today.

I'm totally jealous, you guys have it easy... It was just $4.79 a gallon for 89 Octane here in Chicago, I was late for work and only had time to put 15 in my tank..that barely got me to work. Went back filled up my Saab 9-3, which is certainly not a large vehicle, and I spent another $50....

In case you're wondering... the answer is yes, I did consider ending my life at the gas pumpicon_evil.gif

I filled up two days ago with regular at 4.25/gal. Thank god my car gets 35mpg.

I don't normally pay attention to gas prices unless I'm filling up, but I really hope there is a large decrease in price soon. The public transportation here is abysmal and I can't afford to keep driving. icon_sad.gif

Here in FL, gas has gone up about a buck a gallon since January...about $3.90/gal now. This is down from about $3.95.

I drive 500-750 miles every week and my 4WD Honda SUV gets mid 20's mpg...so I'm spending over $100/week for gas. I could trade for a Toyota Prius, and my gas mileage will double to 50mpg saving me $50 a week. Tempting...but I need the SUV.
