Is anyone else a total klutz after a hard arm workout?

    So I has me a nice hard day of biceps at the gym. The one where you're like "this feels like the arm workout I always do...let's take it TO THE EXTREME!!".

    I get home, go to the fridge to take out a couple eggs. I crack one inside the carton, shit. I take two out. Drop one on the way to place them on the counter. Shit. Drop the other. I'm like WTF!? After eating I'm washing my hands and knock over this dish next to the sink. I'm like yeah this is annoying, I can't grip anything and my shaky arms are kinda useless icon_biggrin.gif

    Similar experiences?

    I'm a klutz 24/7, so a good arm workout only makes it worse! ...yeah, I'm that guy that trips going UP the stairs! icon_redface.gif

    I'm a klutz without the arm workout, but on arm days it gets worse. Usually I'll have a little notebook with me at the gym to write down everything, and about halfway through the workout it looks like I start having seizures when I'm writing.

    The worst, though, seems to come when I spend a good deal of time on the punching bag. Pretty much the entire day after my workout, my writing is illegible and I have a hard time gripping things. Hooray self-induced muscle spasms!

    heybreaux saidI have been using Jack3d and it has been pushing me further. So, when I read this I could certainly relate. The free weights are on the 4th floor of my gym and after squats and calves today, I was walking down the stairs like a crazy person, it was soooo embarrassing LOL, like a palsy! The impact of each step I wasn't sure if I would fall, it was kind of hilarious. icon_biggrin.gif Waddled home!


    Man this reminds me of last year when I couldn't go to the gym for like 3 months. My first day back I did this insanely heavy leg day in the morning (I was at a community college) then went to take a nap in my car. After I woke up I got out and my legs felt....strange. It was a strange feeling. I came to a set of like 6 steps, and as soon as I lifted my leg to take the first step both my legs collapsed from under me. And I couldn't get back up. I literally could not stand up. Really nice with all these people around me going wtf.

    Yeah! I shave my own head and on one hard arm day my muscle cramped up and I completely shaved down the middle of my head with a ZERO that I use for just my sides! Never again. Never again!

    +1, but yes, my arms feel so good and swollen that they get shaky... same thing happens with legs.

    It's funny you write this because I did a hardcore workout today and was holding onto a can of tuna. Bam it dropped right out of my hand and all onto the floor! Haha I certainly feel you man

    no not really, but have had my legs just give after a hard leg work out. after a workout went to wal-mart to get some stuff. i stopped to get some coffee from the top shelf and my legs just went out. i fell down and brought the whole coffee section with me. needless to say i was really emarassed icon_eek.gif
