I don't think this group will get very far in New York, because the population center New York City, I believe can overcome this new effort. The haters are sure busy though aren't they !!! You know how is with these far righters !! GOD IS ON THEIR SIDE !! at least they think so inspite of how contradictory that mindset is, but thats the way with religion, one contradiction after another.

    Republicans are sociopaths.

They have no empathy for others. Their MO is to kill, maim, cheat, slander, harass...whatever red meat issues stoke the bigotry and hatred among their evil voters.

Rand Paul says, "I think a restaurant should deny entry to blacks if the owner wants."

Arizona Republicans say,. "If you're Latino or olive skinned, you better have your papers with you..else we'll haul you off to jail."

And when it comes to marriage..all Republicans say, "I'm not comfortable with it, and that's all that matters. Keeping my bigoted views happy is all that counts. A gay person has the same right to marry an opposite sex partner...good enough. No special rights."

Bigoted white republicans don't care. Doesn't affect them. If a Native American gets dragged off to jail on a way to visit his client or spouse in the hospital...who cares. Won't affect their white ass.

So basically you get to define who can be hated? icon_smile.gif

Individual Freedoms work both ways. If you think that you should be allowed to behave in a way you see fit, why should someone else be deigned that same freedom?

Rand Paul is a philosophical purist, he takes the side of individual freedom, with the understanding that once you allow one freedom to be taken away, it becomes harder to stop others from being taken away as well. He has never said anything that states that he would support a restaurant run by bigots, but that as a private company they should have the right to decide who they want to come in. I would assume that the food is as vile as the owners and never set foot in a place like that. But I can understand Senators Paul statement for what it is and not try to build a fraudulent believe structure on it.

Not all republicans are bad people. There are some democrats that are hypocrites as well. As for this radical, right wing group NOM, they need to do themselves a favor and leave New York alone and let us decide whether or not we want gay marriage to become the law of the land. This group is not winning any significant support in Buffalo or its suburbs. I guess most conservative New Yorkers have pretty much accepted the fact that gay marriage is eventually going to be approved in New York.
