Often times though it's quicker to go thru the drive-thru with 6 cars waiting than go inside and stand in line. For some reason most fast food places don't place much emphasis on "fast service" inside .

That is insane, I would never ever even think about waiting that long... especially for fast food.

Its worth going crazy for. Its the best burger for fast food. I will wait for 15 minutes for it. It is worth the wait. Totally Beats mcd jack in d crack, burger king, and even five guys. If there's a line that long for fast food u know it is good otherwise there won't be a line there. If u go, get it animal style! Socalers help me out here. They do not know what they are missing.
Now I will go to in-n-out just because I m craving for it now.

Here's my opinion about In-N-Out. The burgers are pretty basic. In fact, they're average. They're more along the lines of what you can make at home. But that's the appeal. The ingredients are fresh and clean. And it's guaranteed that it won't be made by some underpaid and bitter drone, who might be tempted to spit in your food.

So in summary, In-N-Out is awesome because of the quality of the burgers. Quality you can taste! Plus, what other burger joint offers a 20x20? icon_lol.gif

I will never understand the popularity of In-and-Out burgers. All of their "food" is pure crap.

I remember when I was in marching band and I saw my first In and out when we went to Phx. I didn't bother to go in because the line was soo fucking long that I went to McDonalds instead. Everyone kept raving as to how amazing the burgers were and soo on. Months past and they opened up an In & out in Tucson. The line looked almost the same as the Texas one and after waiting 30minutes (or more) in line I finally got this "amazing" burger. My first bite and I was fucking DISAPOINTED!! I felt conned.

Well, when the first (and only) Krispy Kreme donut shop opened here in So Cal years ago, there were some long ass lines here too. I stood in line for about an hour. The guy behind me was a gopher or PA for a studio in Burbank. They sent his ass down to get a few boxes of donuts. That was easily a 2 - 3 hour drive each way. Plus, another hour or so in line. icon_lol.gif

In-N-Out Burger is the only logical fast food choice when you're in So Cal. Well, maybe Wahoo's.

I would not, however, sit in that line for it. Then again, I can drive 3 miles down the road and get one. icon_smile.gif

I love In-N-Out burgers, but I refuse to stop by if I see there is more than 5 cars ahead of me in line. If I must wait, I'd rather go to Umami Burgers (amazing truffle burgers) or Father's Office - way better than In-N-Out.
