Have You Ever Just Wanted To 'sleep' With Someone ?

By that I mean share a bed and just sleep together, maybe spooned together or with one of you having resting your head on the other bloke's chest while he holds you close. Yes, it does sound a bit sappy but its been quite some time since Ive just hadx someone just hold me close in bed and just 'sleep' with me. I think its the close body contact and the relaxed atmosphere I miss when being in a relationship, and that awkward sexual tension is replaced by just a need to be close to another guy in such a vunerable time of night.

So, have any of you actually done this ? Whether or not with a partner or maybe even on a one night stand that turned into a one night cuddle fest icon_biggrin.gif

Just go to sleep in the same bed as someone and have nothing sexual happen? Absolutely. I love it... there's a wonderful kind of soothing feeling about it that I find more intimate than sex in some ways.

How's that for sappy? Hey, I'm telling the truth.

Yes, I definitely know what you mean.
I really think that it is a desire to be intimate, since sex is not always intimate.
Problem is that most guys I meet are not interested in a night of "sleeping."

Yes it did happen to me. Only once though... It was wonderful! I cant wait until it happens again. I miss that night so much! I just felt so safe and comfortable in someone elses arms all night and he kept kissing me on the shoulder. Pure bliss...

I'll have to be the dissenting voice here.

    I dislike sharing my bed.

Mind you, if it were a king size and I couldn't sense the other person...perhaps. But I've never liked spending the night or even sleepovers with the bf. I like my space and I'm a toss n turner. I've knocked 2 previous bfs right outta the bed!

I don't think there's anything sappy about it at all.

I often wish I had someone to hang out and just spend the night with...a snuggle buddy ;)

I can't. The first few nights with a new person in my bed, or sharing their bed, makes me restless. I can't stand it.

What's more is they tend to not like it either. After laying down for about 20 min my body somehow turns into a blast furnace and heat radiates off of me. Snakes are comfortable, when ever i hold one they instantly relax cause i'm so warm. Cats like it too. Humans... they dont like it so much.

I side with runinthecity on this one.
I can cuddle for about 5-10 minutes but in the end - i like and need my space in bed. I to have been known to push a partner/guy away (in my sleep) when he tried to cuddle me in the middle of the night. This led to many hurt feelings.

See, I knew I wasn't the only guy to suffer this!
I radiate heat when I sleep. I used to make my ex sweat just from proximity and he'd toss off the blankets and curse me.

My ex bf is 20 years younger that me. During our relationship sometimes I play a role of a father or older brother to him. When we are not having sex, I just like to hold him on his waist from behind and sometimes hold his head onto my chest. I feel like being older it my duties to protect him from all harm. It a warm and wonderful feeling.

The situation reverse when we are not in bed , he always told me to let him know is I get into any trouble. He a policemen, his line of duty is protecting people. No harm can touch me, when he is around.

threek - a three-tined eating utensil, similar to a fork.

    (haha)

I think more people would have got the joke if he said, "What about sporking?"

I'm another solitary sleeper. If I try to sleep in the same bed with someone, it takes me forever to fall asleep, my sleep is very shallow, and I wake up very tired the next day.

The cats sleep with me, and they only bother me if they pin me down by curling up between my legs. However, they seldom do that because I usually send them flying off the bed when I roll over on my side.
