Hmmm, a state that swung significantly to GOP in 2010 - with Gov. Scott Walker as the face of the state GOP endeavors. Too early for him to run but who on each side? Will Doyle try?

I would love to see Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin run. She would carry Milwaukee, Madison and the northern tip of WI (all Democratic strongholds). I think she could gain the respect (if not the votes) of the rural electorate with her honesty.

Hmm interesting. However the fact she is a lesbian would suck all the oxygen out of a true debate. When you say north tip of Wisco do you mean Green Bay or Duluth area? I would think neither would harbor a trove of Dem votes?

Superior, Ashland, Bayfield. Very blue but not densely populated.
I really don't think her sexuality would be an issue. Everyone whispers about Herb Kohl and still voted for him.
If we could only ban outside influence from the left and right, I would love to see a match up between Paul Ryan and Tammy Baldwin. It could be a very civil race with clear cut ideology. I don't agree with Ryan's politics but I believe him to be a gentleman.
