I really need some good running music! Can anyone recommend anything? I sort of like the electronic sound, but I don't know where to start....icon_smile.gif

Favorite running song of all time = "The Moment I Said It" by Imogen Heap.

It's got these amazing layers of sound and this incredible pulse that gives you (or maybe just me) the feeling of flying over the road, with the trees and people and sky becoming a blur...

Of course, it's not exactly upbeat. For me, though, the best running songs are the ones that drive me on and make me forget about times and mileage.

    Also good:

    "Touch" by Natasha Bedingfield
"Turning Tables" by Adele (although the Glee version seems to be sliiightly faster, which actually seems to work out well with my stride)

This is one of my favorite songs ever... I noticed the layers of sound immediately when I first heard this song years ago. But if the OP is looking for a more upbeat sound for running, maybe Frou Frou's Let Go would work best. What do you think about Let Go @aero? ;)

This song gives me waves of goosebumps...after a good warmup, i catch my second wind at about 15 mins. I switch to this track and it's in-fucking-sane...runner's high?

Not sure if you're into dance at all, but I first learned about "The Moment I Said It" by watching this video. These kids are phenomenal, and portray the music very well I think.

As for the OP "Relax" isn't a bad song for running. It's a little raunchy though.icon_twisted.gif
