hey does anyone know some good recovery techinques to speed up slight sciatic nerve pain?

Just hurt mine a week and a half ago, doesn't hurt too much( just right butt cheek) -- only when i try to run on a treadmill does it flare up alittle.

i have a 5k race i'm competing in on June 5th(my first) and was wondering what were some good alternative exercises to running/ just to keep up training?

any advice is greatly apreciated icon_smile.gif

go see a physiotherapist who specialises in back problems, they exist and they will be able to properly handle your requirements, NO ONE on realjock can or shoulder direct you in properly handling your sciatic nerve problems and you'd be rather silly to follow anyones advice, no matter what information they have.

    Get a TENS unit.

Google it. Most insurances cover them.
