HM Queen Elizabeth II so warmly welcomed in the Republic of Ireland.

Our Queen HM Queen Elizabeth II was to express sympathy for victims of Anglo-Irish troubles.

HM was the first British monarch to visit this relatively new republic since it won it's independence in 1922. Said the two countries are now "firm friends!"

But of course she can not say sorry, certainly for all the troubles that come to pass before her reign. No Vatican city has to calm a lot of that.

She was wearing her bullet proof hat, just in case there were any lingering hard feelings.
Heard she carries a pistol in that big purse, too.
    Atta girl !

Yeah it was great to see, she even spoke Irish at the beginning of her speach. There were some protests outside Dublin Castle but for the most part people really embraced the event and what it stood for.
