There are a lot of guys who are lucky enough to be born naturally smooth or so they appear to be. How many guys on this site are natural and how many shave?

I was naturaly smooth above the waist until my late twenties. Since body hair is a male secondary sex characteristic and I am very glad to be male I was glad when my chest started to sprout. To me the decision to shave or wax is up to the individual although I prefer a man to be natural...smooth or fuzzy.

Don't have much hair on my chest - legs have tons. We want what we don't have...for me more body hair & a foreskin (working on reconstruction) would be more than welcome.

Dang, wish I was born somewhat smooth. I'm not a beast but it grows places I can't even see!! I prefer trimmed, but there. Bigger the muscle, (more bearish) the more hair, HOT!!

Asian guy here, naturally smooth except the trail.

But also born small framed, so there's kind of a genetic trade off...

Well I for one shave sometimes and sometimes I keep the hair. With all the smoothness going on these days it seems to be almost a pedofileademic if that makes any sense at all LOL. I find that I get just as many looks with a slightly trimmed amount of chest hair and leg hair as I would if shaved. The advantages is that you usually find someone that is not so shallow as to base their opinion of you simply on your body hair and as long as you are fit, as I am, it shouldnt really matter. Some like smooth and some like hair, I could care less what others think as long as I am sexy to me :-). I do shave more in the Summer however just because I compete some but in the Winter I am a clipped bear and a lot of people really like it. I think the days of "real men" are coming back so eat, drink, and be hairy ahehehe! Peace.

I was a late bloomer. Didn't start growing pubic hair until almost 15. One day around 19 I noticed a hair growing on my chest. Seemed like next day I had the hairyest chest of all my friends. Now, it I have more hair on my back than on my head. I get my back waxed (ouch!) and trim my chest, pubes, scotum and pits. Like the trim look but not shaved. Hair is our birthright and our plummage. Would like more hair on my legs and ass and a fuller beard. Like Solojoe, we want what we don't have. Like him, I wish I had my foreskin, too. Hope your reconstruction goes well.

Natural smoothness is a curse, in my opinion. Trimming and having body hair in all the right places is the way to go. WOOF.
Big hairy muscle hugs, guys for a great New Year.

gen01 - even tightly cut guys can grow a foreskin, I was cut fairly loosely.

I use a method of manual stretching for about 1 hour per day. Other methods and contraptions are available on the net. http://frcchat.org/ After 18 months my glans stays covered when I wear a jock. When hard I am able to slide the new skin 2/3 over my glans. Other than the look of skin, the feeling while having sex or masturbating is unbelievable.

I expect restoring my foreskin will take 2 or 3 more years.

What has our society done to us by removing such a vital part our anatomy?

I think a man looks more hot in his natural state. i can't stand rubbing up against chest stubble, and some of those model type guys look plucked, waxed and airbrushed almost within an inch of their life.

WOW quite a diiference in different guys.
I am a moderatley hairy White man who has always only dated smooth, smaller framed guys, particulary Asian (leon5667 you are hot)
But it is simply a sub-preference just like wanting men over women. It is deep within our subcouncious and not easily changed. So Smooth/hairy... one is not better or more desireable -- simply whatever turns you on.

I've been with both smooth and hairy chested/legged guys. Either way is fine. I'm not really into shaved, I don't like the stubble. Myself, I'm slightly hairy in the chest, trail, and legs, though its not real dark. I keep mine trimmed.
I think it has more to do with does the guy look good that way.

I have shaved the chest (not much hair to begin with) during the summer and let it grow back during the winter....

Always trim around the package and shave the balls....bf likes when the sack is smooth....

Masculine = natural (hairy or smooth).

STUBBLE (other than face/neck) is a dealkiller every time!

Personally, I like a hairy muscle-guy. Not exactly a bear here but enough to make it interesting.

I'm not "smooth" and I don't shave either.

I'll trim my chest and stomach hair a little, but that's about it. Shaving/waxing it completely off just looks, well, un-natural.

I just prefer guys to be natural. If you've got chest hair, cool. If not, cool.

A lot of guys can fool you into thinking their smoothness is natural. Blonds are especially good at it, because their regrowth takes the longest to show.

I'm another with a smooth chest and back, but much hairier legs than I'd like. I've been experimenting with different methods of removal but haven't yet found anything I can stand to upkeep.

On other guys, personally I do love smooth, but I definitely won't complain about neatly trimmed chest hair. I'm not a fan of the "natural" wolf-man look because I hate getting hair in my mouth. I like a smooth face, too.

Naturally smooth except a few stray hairs around my nipples and a pretty blatant treasure trail. Plenty of hair (though shorter and very very blond) on my arms and legs... just my genes I guess.

As for preference... ::shrugs:: Don't poke me. My ex was very hairy. I liked it when he trimmed because I could see his muscles better. I did *not* like it when he shaved because it was frigging PAINFUL to make out! So yeah, be happy with yourself and don't make it painful for me, otherwise I don't care much.

pretty furry here... but i used to groom a lot when i was younger... now, i have come to appreciate my hairyness. still prefer to do some manscaping here and there... but i agree that whatever you've been given naturally is the sexiest...

Humans seem to always want what they don't have, no pun intended here. Well not for this crowd! I enjoy a guy that is smooth and I do have some waxing done myself. Appearently, bodily hair is a sign of high levels of testosterone. So, bears count yourself lucky! As we age, our testosterone levels drop and estrogene levels increase and the opposite happens in females. That is why women devolop unwanted hair in wierd places and us guys become cranky! LOL
