This has turned out to be fabulous, leaving aside my little snit fit. What a talented bunch of superstuds.

(Not terribly modest, am I? icon_redface.gif LOL)

Links to my own poetry, including excerpts (click on titles for full poem):

    Dreams Of Nowhere

Keeping my gaze on the glow,
Of a day that never breaks,
    In this forever twilight,
    With Eden just beyond sight,
    Horizons never nearer,
Always one more mile to go,

    Demon Tears

    (Posted this before here)

    Is it innocence,
    Is it ignorance?
We who did not want to be sheep.
    Is this paradise,
    This deliverance?
Or the meek flock the shepherd keeps?

    The Dance of Naiades

    (Wrote this when I was 16! icon_razz.gif)

Pale white fires of lily flowers,
    Burn above the placid lake,
    Sylvan choirs in leafy bowers,
    Sing beneath the nighthawk's wake

    Aftermath

The lips that brimmed with spite and ire,
    Now lie cold and voiceless,
    Death mutes the hero's screams,
    And dims the spirit's fire

Note that these were written from as early as my high school years. Writing poetry for me is not a habit, but when I feel like writing, I never deny my muse. icon_razz.gif

Also one of my noobish stories:

    Downpour

And some of me artwork (scaled to fit these pages):

    Thanks. icon_smile.gif

Yours is too. It's what I call 'prose-poetry'. Modern freestyle. icon_razz.gif

Y'know Blind River and my own Dreams of Nowhere have the same subject matter. LOL

Beautiful Pictures is kinda like... um... what I call snapshot poetry. Meandering thoughts that impart an emotion to the reader.

(edited my original post to include my stories and art)

For several years, I blogged all my poetry. Including the process of writing/rewriting/editing various pieces.

I think I'll just post a link and people can visit if they choose.

That is a beautiful piece. I like the measured tone that connects with a variety of emotional spots.

    Holy War

    the heart is something
    the soul is something
the hands are nothing to fear
    when pain is nothing
    and shame is nothing
and song is something to hear
    this floor is nothing
    this ceiling moving
    and walls will just disappear
    move together
    birds of a feather
    just like in heaven
    and go forever
    we go forever
    we cause commotion
    consume the ocean
and break the bondage of earth and sea
across the country, from sea to sea
in search of chemistry, losing me
we still the waters on our own orders
erase the borders, the coming order
    these are those days
    the world has something
    it's all consuming
    disease just doesn't compare
    with children burning
    a virus learning
    history doesn't prepare
forget about the day and night
it's another time, no, that's not right
    keep your children near

    Apple Tree

    apple tree, grow for me
see how far you can reach
    dig deeply into the earth
grab hold for all it's worth
    apple seed, return to me

Sadly no. At least not yet. I can do basic animation, but VERY basic as in how to make a ball bounce or a robot walk, LOL, but animating as in Hollywood character animations is still waay above me.

This is all for a game we're developing. Hence why it's all low-polygon so games can handle it. Hollywood doesn't have to worry about that coz they're concerned with the pictures rendered only, while games have to take into account processors, graphics cards, and whatnot to be sure it's still playable...

    ...ok geektalk... icon_redface.gif sorry. LOL

I'm learning as I go, as I have NO formal training in Digital Art. LOL. And Thanks! icon_smile.gif

    And oooh Squarejaw's sexcapades?
