Not Sure How To Move Forward

I took a year off from the gym due to work. I gained 20lbs. I started back last December 1 and have lost 18 lbs of it so I am happy. I am 5'9, 167lbs.

I lift 4-5 days a week. I split my work outs back/bi, chest/tri, legs/abs and shoulders. I push as much weight as I can for each set (generally 5 sets of 10) for each group I try to 4 different types movements if I can. For the minor muscles it might only be 3. I change it up every 3-4 months.

I measure myself every few weeks to get an idea of my progress. I have not gotten any bigger in the last two months and my waist is hasnt gotten smaller.

I think a lot of this as to do with my diet. when I was heavy I wasnt eating as much. Trying to say at 1800 calories a day and I was doing a decent amount of cardio. I stopped the cardio about a month ago to focus just on lifting.

I normally have half a cup of oatmeal in the morning, something kind of random for lunch, come home and work out and then have a protein shake. If I get hungry later, I might have some peanut butter on whole grain bread.

I stay away from bad food as much as I can but some does sneak in. I think the reason I am not getting bigger is diet related. My mind cant get around eating more for fear I will get fat again. Just a mental block.

So, what do you work out gurus suggest for this n00b? Change up the diet and feed the muscles? Work out is shitty and I should do something else? Lay back, get fat and find a wealthy bear? What say you?

if you have 5 days to work out
    do 3 days cardio
    2 days weight training
    do abs everyday

As you lose go onto flip them for a month see how it goes.

those google freaks will tell you to do HIIT

it works but I'm sure you can google it yourself.
