Thousands of Spaniards protest economic troubles despite ban

    Not such great news from my former motherland, but at least people are taking it to the streets. For as long as I can remember, unemployment has been a problem in Spain. But it's definitely escalating to new highs at over 20% and affecting mostly young people.

    Well, there are implicit bans here (e.g "free speech" zones) that ensure that neither the media nor the subject of the protests will have cover/face it.

    Go figure, a country that has advanced a lot in LGBT rights, but yet there are challenges to free speech and very few jobs for people to make a living.
