Who wants to be in LA anyway? Have you seen the traffic? Even NYC is not that bad...

I was in LA this past December and I did not like it a bit. I'm sorry for trashing your city icon_sad.gif

There are many; you're just not on the right lists.
And Cityaznguy: Many of us could live in NY but choose not to. All a matter of preference.

One would imagine most people have a problem with LA, it's a dreadful place, other than Pasadena.

LMAO! We have other stuff besides buildings! If you come I'll show you around to prove that I'm not lying. All I said was I don't like LA because of the traffic. I cant believe you guys are so sensitive. I guess I should have also said that despite all the horrible traffic, I liked beaches and amusement parks in SoCal, if it makes it better. icon_smile.gif Peace?

I live in LA and I fucking hate it, but I have to be here for my life dreams. And it IS because of the traffic. People drive so goddamned slow and they will stop in the middle of the road to do whatever they need to do, completely oblivious that there are people behind them. Maybe I'm just so bitter because I hate sitting still.

::sigh:: if only I could teleport everywhere.

    Long Beach Pride this weekend!

Being that I work from home, I don't run into traffic problems very often. Well, I also live in the SGV. The traffic is way worse on the West side and along the coast.

I'm just curious: Why is it OK to hate LA but it's not OK to hate other cities lest one get bashed?

I have been to Denver but only very briefly (not overnight). I plan to go again soon for a longer stay, and if I hate it I would totally trash it in the future, don't you worry Brian. icon_wink.gif

I enjoyed visiting LA. The traffic is pretty mad though; something to which I made my own little contribution, by trying to turn left on a red light! In my defence, I had just driven 500 mind-numbing miles via the Central Valley.

I lived in L.A. for 20 years. It can be the most amazing city on earth, and it can also be the most exasperating city on earth. That's just life in L.A.

    Haters gonna hate. icon_lol.gif

Like I've said many times in the past, you can't judge a city by one weekend trip. LA in particular. Gotta live here for a while to discover all that LA has to offer.
