What are your life goals and when did you decide on them?

Once in a decision analysis course, the professor was talking about happiness and defining it in concrete terms.

He said that he has three goals in life in order to achieve happiness.
1- Having a family and kids.
2- Having a considerable amount of clothes friends.
3- Having 1 million dollars by the age 50.

Note that he didn't say to be in good health, because although you can take some actions to preserve your health, it is not totally a human decision to work toward.

Now, coming to my point of view. I realized that in general I don't think far into the future to set goals for myself. I have never been able to do that. Maybe because I am still in my twenties, maybe because it's a personality trait or maybe I'm just late and I need to set these goals as soon as possible.

The "goal" of this thread is a two-part question.

First, if you do have set-in-stone life goals when did you "discover" them and did they change since then (seeing they are too unrealistic, losing interest in one of them based on new circumstances...)

Second, what are your top three life goals?

    I have a twisted answer...

1- I always thought abt having a Nice Villa where i plant my own Garden (since i was in High School - 18yrs old)

    2- Be filthy rich

    3- Become a famous Pianist

These three goals, i've always wnted them and i never stopped thinking abt them but yet, i never took a step froward towards them at all whatsoever.

I want to say that I'm having a plan to test myself till am 28 and see where I am this is when i will start to really think of my priorities and set my credible goals, and i will see in 5 years! LOLOL

I had goals since I was a teenager. The only thing that's changed is the market isn't quite as lucrative for those goals as they once were.
