She straight up took Pon de Floor by Major Lazer and just changed the lyrics.
    That's not inspiration, that's thievery.

Major Lazer stole from Major Lazer under your logic. Major Lazer is not an actual person, it's just the production name of DJ's Switch and Diplo. Switch produced 'Run the World' and, to my understanding, a good majority of her new CD. She hired Tofu Tofu to help choreograph her video, hence the similar dance moves. She didn't 'steal' anything.

The two men dancing along with Beyonce might just be the choreographers. They are the ONLY boys dancing with her in the video. The boys also look Caribbean.

Yeah, it's a sample, a sample that the original producer used to produce the song for Beyonce. I'm sure the sample credit will be in her CD booklet. It's not a secret. I personally don't think either song was worth making this big a deal over.

Actually, she didn't intend to keep it a secret, nor was she trying to make everyone think that she came up with this... she bought the rights to the instrumental with those woman voices from the song pon the floor and about the dance - what do you guys think - that every singer comes up with the choreo to his/her song?? She has choreographers and those guys on the video - they are her inspirationicon_smile.gif
