For those not in the know.. That big geodesic dome (golf ball) was the USA Pavillion for Expo 67 in Montreal designed by Buckminster Fuller. Probably the greatest expo of all times for stunning pavillions

I visited the big TO several times to see friends as I was learning to accept myself as a gay man and starting to come out. Church St. was indeed.. very interesting, but the city overall was quite an experience and I enjoyed it thoroughly... especially my 35th birthday at the top of the CN Tower.

those pictures do nothing for me. . .

also, I don't think I could handle the looooong winters u all experience, it would really start to get to me after a while. Gimme any florida city, I'll take it over the most cosmopolitan of canadian cities, minus Vancouver.

people always do that tho. . .
they'll post like 4 or 5 pics of some place and that is supposed to encompass the whole vibe of said place icon_rolleyes.gif

like look at the people posting pics of Montreal all now.

actually, peameal bacon is canadian bacon, but sliced/stripped bacon is just bacon. icon_wink.gif

If I had my druthers over which to live in I'd take Montreal anyday over Toronto. I find Toronto to be a little too sterile and to be honest there isn't much to do other than go shopping and I hate shopping.

Good grief...give me a reasonable winter (it's certainly not long) over the omnipotent threat of hurricanes and tornados ANYDAY!

Never been to Florida, and frankly I don't think I'm missing much.

    I'm happy enough in Toronto!

You really need to get over your own ignorance...it's obnoxious bordering on stupid at this point!
