Yup, they might be fine, especially that one on the left but I am less than impressed. They are lucky I like that song.

...but the guy on the right has an ass of death...I can't believe those shorts stay on...watch when he turns around at the beginning...you could set a drink on that shelf... icon_wink.gif

    [sigh]

Did American Airlines cancel flights to France? [that's where these boys are from].

You know what this reminds me of? Pedj & Kelly, those two cute French football players.

"I like the one on the left."
"I like the one on the right."

I cast my vote for the guy on the left.

That was a great way to start the day! The guy on the right is hot...and he has better rhythm than the one on the left.

That was so beautiful. If there is voting going on I'll go for the one on the right.

And just as a matter of interest: How do I put a you tube vid on this thing???

That was mildly entertaining. I vote for the guy on the left though (in the original video, for clarification!), he was a hottie. I already despise Daft Punk and this video only deepened my hate of their uninspired music by demonstrating the fact that the damn song has less than 25 words for lyrics. It's as though they write songs to win those SMS competitions underneath specially marked Pepsi bottles. But I digress - left guy for hottest in that video.

Daft Punk has been a HUGE influence on the house music scene. They're one of the most successful electronic music acts -- ever.

Just thought I'd give ya the information.

Probably, but I just don't think that sort of music carries nearly the same merit as most music does. They just have to get a beat going and some electronic vocals, press a few buttons, mix it a bit etc. and they've got a song. Most bands have to write lyrics, play their own instruments, arrange them, write the music itself, record it, produce it, then uphold the performance when live... I just feel as though their music requires less skill to make than others, therefore the effect is dulled in my eyes. I'd be happy to be converted though, if you can convince me otherwise.

BOOOOOOOOOO. Electronic artists still have to go through the same creative process and studio work. Many house acts like daft punk, still have to write lyrics, create a the mucic. They also then go back resample remaster and mix their tracks. You should learn more about electronic music before you make such broad statements about the skill and level of talent that is involved.

Video was great. Liked the guy on the left better, but the guy on the right was a cuter dancer.

No need to attack me. But as for lyrics - come on. For the sake of argument, here are the lyrics to that song: http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/daftpunk/harderbetterfasterstronger.html

And here are the lyrics to In The Aeroplane Over The Sea, a song by Neutral Milk Hotel from what is regarded as one of the best albums of the 90's, and of all time personally, inspired by the story of Anne Frank:

    http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/In-the-Aeroplane-Over-the-Sea-lyrics-Neutral-Milk-Hotel/BB5DC9FB5E9C824948256E5B0024BDF6

To me...the lyrics process at least cannot be compared. Otherwise, I wouldn't know, I just deem lyrics to be largely the heart of a song.
