Here we go again...icon_rolleyes.gif I think its safe to say that everything that Camping says should be shot straight to hell......no pun intended. Even his family said they dont believe his prophecies..he's a fraud.

Just dont understand why he doesnt believe the bible. It says no man knows the time of Jesus's return, not even HIM!!! It is in Matthew 24:36 and that whole chapter gives some indefinite and definite signs of the SEASON of HIS return. Ya oughta read it!!!
And for the record , the Mayans and Nostradamus are also needing to read the Word...smile

Hmm... how often can you get away with having your congregation liquidate their assets and "donate" them to "the church." 18 month business cycle?

Dear Mr. Camping. You made a mistake but try not to get so worked up about it, it's not the end of the world.

pffft..ridiculous. I wonder why people give him attention to whatever he says. All he did was predicting doomsday dates while real people in the world are actually trying to get through the day and make a living.

Wouldn't it be funny if Oct 21 really was the end of the world? I would literally die laughing.

I have been saying this for the longest, its October, not May. Oh Harold, what an elementary mistake.

That cant be right, I already heard before that October 21st was gonna be the end of the world.... or "Doomsday"... May 21st was only the day for the "chosen ones" to be taken to heaven... Thats "Rapture"

"Rapture" and 'Doomsday" are different things, its still on YT

Yeah, but the Rapture was in May, not the end of the world, so everyone was expecting the believers to be in heaven now, and the rest of us living through hell on earth

    According to the AP:

Saturday was "an invisible judgment day" in which a spiritual judgment took place, he said. But the timing and the structure is the same as it has always been, he said.

"We've always said May 21 was the day, but we didn't understand altogether the spiritual meaning," he said. "May 21 is the day that Christ came and put the world under judgment."

He uses the royal "we"? And why did Christ need to come to check things out on May 21st? I thought he knows all things all the time.

What if somebody repents between now and October? Are they still doomed? Or conversely, what if somebody does evil before then? Do they still get raptured with the Chosen?

He's projecting his own human way of thinking onto God's mind, transmuting his own personal beliefs into predictions of God's actions. This guy is clearly off his rocker, but more disturbing to me are the people who follow his lunatic teachings & predictions. And he makes a fortune doing it, which may not mean he's not a madman, just a clever & wily one, 2 conditions which are not incompatible.
