I'll be there this weekend for a conference. I've been a few times, but from the local boys/former locals...what is there to do?

Music, bars, restaurants or a combination of the three.

Men of Realjock, I bestow upon me your knowledge.

    Update:
Add interesting shops/sites/museums within walking distance of downtown to that list.

4th St is where all the gay clubs are. OCH, Rain, Kiss and Fly. Fun stuff during the day, Zilker Park is cool if you like being naturey. It's on Town Lake, and you can rent kayaks for $12 per hour. You can just walk around and find random fun stuff. It's not hard in Austin icon_smile.gif

A little belated, but thanks everyone! I will (hopefully) be relocating there soon too and am looking for recommendations on places to live in one of my other threads. Thanks again!
