    Hey guys

I know some of you are following my journey, so I thought I'd do an update. I'm down to 234 lbs. from 334 at the beginning of 2010. You can see progress pics on my profile or if you are feeling lazy and dont feel like clicking around, you can see my latest vid and skip to the 3:20 mark if you want to skip the babbling and just see the pics.

So yeah, thats pretty slow weight loss, but I work hard to maintain my lean mass as best as I can and its better for my skin. If anyone should have really loose skin its someone who is in his late 30s and has been fat his entire life (morbidly obese for the last 5 or 6 of those years), but I think you can see that my skin is shrinking at the same speed as the fat is coming off.

I'm a third of the way through this process. This goes on until my 40th birthday in 2014 when I will be 15% body fat at around 195ish to 205ish lbs, not sure yet where I'll end up weight-wise.

Dude!!!! Your amazing, and an inspiration. its good you are losing it slowly, a friend of mine lost 40 pounds in under three months ( hormones and starving himself the entire time and doing some cardio, he went through a total personality change until he started a regular lifestyle again), and on top of that he now has a ton of loose skin. He has bingo wings and all. I did warn him, but he didn't listen. Anyways im glad to see someone doing it right. Kudos to you man keep it up icon_smile.gif

Just so you know, comments like these truly give me alot of energy, so its much appreciated Like today, all my exercises were at the 15 rep max (I do HST) and I really wasnt looking forward to all the burn, but after glancing at this post after I got home from work, I powered through it like it was a breeze, so thanks again!

That's both great to hear and shitty to hear (about the progress pics, I mean). The power of taking and comparing pics like that is hard to overestimate, especially because its so hard to see progress in the mirror. Its mainly why I started doing youtube vids, because I wanted them as an artifact, some sort of visual document of the process.

But again, good for you for that amazing loss!

Congrats on your success. I know gaining 334 pounds didn't happen overnight. And losing the extra weight is no different. A hundred plus pounds is no mean feat. Congratulations, you've come along way. I have no idea the effort that takes. But if you can make such tremendous life changes by setting such a goal and working towards it over days, weeks, and months, you've got to know that you can apply that to a great many challenges. Continued success to you.
