Being Hiv+ doesn’t make you any less of a human being, although sometimes you may feel that way, you’re still a good friend and even a better companion. But because of stigma and fear most people shy away from Hiv+ people that shouldn’t depress you it’s their lost opportunity to gain a great friend or an even greater lover.

So what you’re going to take a medication everyday and one day eventually die, death isn’t to be feared, everyone’s going to die eventually, so instead be motivated to live each day with meaning and happiness. People die world wide everyday from various causes at different ages.

Maybe your peers and family have turned you away, look around you, life still goes on, you’re not a victim, it’s a chance to evolve to become stronger, to push yourself to the limit, even if you have to do it alone what’s important is that you don’t give up.

Good post. So true. As ive said before the medicines have come so far with this disease to make it manageable but the judgement & stigma are still very difficult with it. Would I wish it on any one? No, I try not to wish bad on anyone, but as stated above being positive doesnt make me a negative person to be involved with.

Fear feeds ignorance & vice versa. If we all showed more compassion, love & understanding to one another regardless of our situations, looks or status' the world would be a much better place for us all.

I don't understand. Why would this offend any one?

We all have a right to be here on this planet Earth. If some other people don't accept you that's their problem, not yours.
