Finally. This will be one book signing I'll be going to! Who else will be going?

It should be an interesting read. I don't care what anyone says, I think Dick Cheney was one of the best V.P.'s -- EVER! America was lucky to have him during a time when we really needed someone of his wisdom and experience. One of George W. Bush's best decisions was picking Cheney as his running mate. If Cheney were healthier and was a Presidential candidate, he would get my vote in a heartbeat. Granted, his heart may not hold up, but he'd get my vote anyway icon_lol.gif

As you've seen me write many times before, and yes I know he absolutely will not run, but that would easily be my top choice in 2012.

And true, I have a pretty big pile of signed book, but that's one I have to have just so I can thank him in person for his four decades of public service.

I'll be going with either some tomatoes or a shoe to throw. Definately not taking the glitter route. icon_lol.gif

Yes, I hope he gets something more than a bag of glitter, right between the eyes.

    Yes.
    I said it.
    And, I meant it.

Note to Geezer: The 2000s are over. We're into the second decade (hint: Cheney is not the v-p anymore.)

And president Clinton is what in the second decade of the 21st century? Hint 1990s are over and his proper title is STILL president Clinton or Mr. President

I'm really disappointed in you as I thought you’re PLENTY old enough to know this

One would think that Chris Wallace knows the proper form of address wouldn't you? Listen to how Wallace addresses Vice President Cheney in the first few seconds of his interview at the 18 second point in the vid.

I will not be going. I don't care for the man, nor his policies. I find him to be despicable.

IMO, the greatest VP we've had or certainly so in my many years. If his heart was healthy and he was up for 2012, there would be no doubt whatsoever who I would be supporting

If devastation is accomplishment, then I suppose you can give Cheney his dues. Otherwise, nothing he has done is considered great.

Although I never celebrate a person's death, I can say that I will be relieved once he's gone. The world needs more people who wish to unite, not divide and conquer.

I don't care for people who are a detriment to the human race. Fortunately history has shown us that we are moving toward progressivism and accepting liberals ideas, more so than conservative ones.

Sorry that history's a bitch for ya icon_wink.gif

"detriment to the human race" pretty typical lefty comment.

Sweetheart, there's nothing remotely liberal about the left. And sorry that you're a bitch for history.

And btw, you're correct on this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_cheney

"Bush and Cheney were re-elected in the 2004 presidential election, running against John Kerry and his running mate, John Edwards. During the election, the pregnancy of his daughter Mary and her sexual orientation as a lesbian became a source of public attention for Cheney in light of the same-sex marriage debate.[72] Cheney has stated that he is in favor of gay marriages but that each individual state should decide whether to permit it.[73] "

A little more 'progressive' than Obama, honey
