The threads of hate have begun again, were no blow is to low when it comes to MRS Palin and the republicans. Since the last elections one has played by the rules of the democrats, but I just never got as low, to see how they dealt with it coming back at them, and they did not like it, because for some reasion they see their hate as being diffrent and more upper classicon_lol.gif Just because they can justify their hate does not make them better or right.

    Remeber America needs YOU!

Except, America doesn't need YOU. Nor wants an ill-informed foreigner who is totally clueless about the United States he presumes to criticize.

As for this thread, it was merely a clip from an interview conducted by a major US news organization (which of course you wouldn't know), in which the official spokesperson for Rolling Thunder expressed his dissatisfaction at Sarah Palin's clumsy & dishonest attempt to misappropriate this non-political veterans' event for her own selfish purposes. And he called her on it.

Now how about your own "threads of hate" here about President Obama, and US Democrats & Liberals in general? Do they count, too, or are you exempt from your own criticism?

Don't worry. This time the negatives will go both ways. The administration has a pathetic record to try and defend, and Obama has opened himself up to charges of being out of step politically, being incompetent both domestically and internationally, and character shortfalls, e.g. all the broken promises. The Republicans will not be paralyzed this time by political correctness or fear of being called racist for making criticisms. The left shot its wad on that one.

Four conservatives respond, and not a single comment regarding the actual point of the thread, which is to highlight Sarah Palin attempting to usurp the message of Rolling Thunder.

I never thought Sarah Palin could sink lower, but she did with this.

Typical right-wing tactics here, to obscure the point, talk about something else to deflect attention. I agree, these guys can't answer about Palin's shameless behavior, an affront to our veterans, so they attack something else. Like going after the President, as they always do, or NBC which did the interview, anything but the issue of Palin's inexcusable conduct.

MSNBC is the Internet outlet for NBC news, a joint venture with MicroSoft. Andrea Mitchell, who did this report as part of her own show, is also NBC's Chief Foreign Correspondent. She's also appeared on, and hosted, Meet The Press. A lot better credentials than the hacks from FOX News.

And BTW, no one said you could address me as Arty. You asked for some respect from me a week or so ago. I agreed I would. I expect the same from you.

    That really is a shame.

But what these four did is really typical of the behavior I noticed. Liberals are more likely to criticize their own than conservatives.

And it's not just on this forum, even with national politics. If a conservative does receive a thrashing, it is more likely because he is out of sync, and not sharing the same opinion as the rest of the herd. Just like the cases involving Karl Rove, or Newt Gingrich who have at one point expressed disagreement with the sheep mentality.

Regarding Rolling Thunder, I wouldn't be surprised if Palin used images taken from the event to exploit the large crowd as part of her campaign, as a way to suggest that bikers rode cross-country to hear her speak.

I'm glad this guy went on the news to clear up the matter. Palin is sending a disingenuous message.

Andrea Mitchell - so upset that Obama was embarrassed by Netanyahu. Whatever her credentials were, she is nothing but a liberal hack.

So now you deflect the subject onto Andrea Mitchell, and her reporting of Obama. How about back on topic, instead, and the situation with Palin trying to co-op Rolling Thunder to honor veterans? I don't suppose you can get around to discussing the thread topic, sometime before June arrives? Or you gonna keep up this avoidance game?

You brought up Andrea Mitchell so I commented on it. Regarding the original topic, never even looked at your video, I joined the thread to comment on discussion that had evolved. I don't care about your original topic and choose where I comment.

Creature, the point of the thread was ludicrous crap as Arty made a feeble attempt to make some sort of case that Sarah Palin was trying to "Steal The Thunder From Rolling Thunder Away From Veterans for herself". Sorry if some of us aren't buying what he's peddling. Sarah Palin may be many things, but disrespectful to veterans or lacking in appreciation for the sacrifices of our military is not among them.

Giggles Art Deco thinks he has the authority to say America does not need me, and I'm ill informed, but he thinks that of anyone who thinks differently to him. A bisexual who has spent most of his life as a straight man, promoting there was something wrong with homosexuality and he feels he is an expert on AIDS and homosexuality now; do we really need you mate? No we really needed you in the 1980s. Hay support your own flag the bisexual one and stop promoting there is something wrong with it tooicon_lol.gif Show it pride.

I too have a right to freedom of Speech and while the actions of America effect and cost my country, (as Obama has) and my American husband of 20+ years. I will maintain being pro active in having a say, as well in all things gay. But since you have been abusive in an attempt to repress and too force one to leave RJ, for many, many years now. I know my words have more of an effect on you than yours ever have on me little man.icon_wink.gif

Oh many of ones threads about Obama have been laced with satire, yet with most satire they are laced with truths and thats what makes em so funny. But then I suppose you only laugh when you are telling the jokes. like the only change Obama has left America is in their pockets, and there is so much truth in that hay mateicon_wink.gif

But Oh you have given yourself the right to comment on my country when it has suited you hay Bobicon_wink.gificon_wink.gif Buy then I think you are so funny tooicon_wink.gif

Just remember little man, it was you who started with the personal attacks too, to abuse and too repress one in a hope of forcing one to leave. But then as a 5 year old Bob, I had more balls than you have ever had. The big Arm man you love to promote yourself as being; giggles.

I don't believe this. The politics of the last 30 years have been largely dictated
by the right wing of the republican party! Jimmy Carter got the initiation by the "religous right".. its been a horror ever since.

Well, he has won a prize, for most petty & childish behavior by an adult here (not to mention content). I suppose we should expect "nah-nah-nah!" from him next. icon_rolleyes.gif

And BTW, for the second time here: NBC was the news organization that broke this story, while MSNBC carried it online. Please check the NBC byline::

Republicans have zero respect for the military, and Sarah Palin is no exception.

Disrespectful, yes. But still not as low as George "AWOL" Bush and Dick "Other Priorities" Cheney....who lied to get us into the Iraq war, resulting in killing and maiming of thousands of Iraqi war veterans.

If Palin is ever elected President, you know she'll bomb any country who makes fun of her dysfunctional family. Sort of like Bush and his personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein.

Drunks usually do that...repeat somebody's name over and over, in a desperate attempt to draw attention to themselves.

Maybe OG has been hitting the sauce, after seeing the republicans election losses and plummeting poll numbers? icon_razz.gif
