Does anyone here has varum knee? Varum knee is when your knees are rotated outwards, whereas valgum knee is when they're rotated inwards.

In squat exercises my teachers say I have to maintain my feet parallel. I think they assume everyone has their feet aligned with their knees. Since my feet point slightly outwards, if I maintain my feet parallel, my knees will point inwards. If instead I keep my knees parallel, my feet will point outwards. It looks like a recipe for injury!

Anyone here has the same problem? Any tips?
