Anybody have a 'bucket list'? One goal I have would be to travel to Europe/Mediterranean for a couple months (and take off work)...I feel like I haven't really traveled too much, and that is my top spot!

    What's your goal?

There were several things I would have wished to have done.
    Become a Medical Doctor.
    Or a Journalist or reporter.
But in the 1960s I was crap at school, and in those days, before the advance of social mobility, the door of opportunity was very narrow unless one leaves school with a wad of qualifications (certificates).
But thanks to the Internet, at least I can blog and I know that whats is written can be read anywhere around the world. It's perhaps the next best thing to reporting, but without the time pressures imposed by the newspaper or magazine publisher.

If you wish to click on that above link, I better warn you, most of my articles are about the Christian Faith in Britain. But I have two or three on Travel as well, one goal I was able to achieve.

Haha I have a fun bucket list, but the one I'm itching to work on right now is to downsize my life and moving into an airstream trailer similar to this one. http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/la/house-tours/matthews-refurbished-retro-airstream-house-tour-140718

One thing that I really wanted to do earlier in life, was to get a PhD. Now that I have got it, I just want to be able to see the world and marvel at the beautiful sights and interesting cultural phenomena. icon_smile.gif

    Interviewed for Gay Issues? Check
    Travel?
Published pictures on a national level?
Love? (Kind of... once, but it wasn't what I wanted)
    New camera?

    Mine's pretty simple.

To create an animated film like Hayao Miyazaki.

Spend a month in another country - already done, but without being in uniform.

I want to compete in a bodybuilding competition. It's my ultimate goal at the moment. To go from weighing nearly 300 lbs to being on stage.. it would really affirm in my head just how much progress I've made.

Lots of work to do though till I reach it.

Experience at least a year of steady acting work for tv and film (im on this!)

Work as a Nurse practitioner in some indigenous spot in the middle of a rain forest or place where the city doesn't ruin the view. Thats my definition of community health icon_smile.gif

Get my photos published in a magazine (very close to this!)

Write, draw, and publish a children's book (50% there!)

better start thinking of new goals soon icon_smile.gif

I am an artist, and I am always reflecting on many things. I read and watch documentaries to try and understand more.

I would love to find a peaceful place in myself, and be able to create some art which draws people in and reflect on more important and deeper things...more than the Real Housewives of New Jersey. (That show has me hooked and I need rehab!)

I would love to be an independent self sustaining artist. I am sick of being an oar slave, rowing the corporate boat.

I would love to open an animal sanctuary...nothing exotic...just dogs, cats and other house pets that have been abused, neglected or left behind. I watch Animal Planet all of the time.
I have a saying, though not origina
    l:
"The more I know about people, the more I love animals"
