So my partner and I had a great afternoon at the Sedgwick County Zoo and decided to have an early dinner and thought we might try out a new restaurant called, "Twin Peaks". I was interested, it had been in the building of the former "Timberline" Steak House and look like it might have adopted some kind of "alpine" flavor with the establishment.

So we went in. Awesome look to the interior... thought the place (with rustic timbers and "cabin" style furnishings) was great... big screens everywhere as the place is primarily a sportsbar.

But what got my attention were the other "twin peaks"... 20 year old girls with
checked, very low cut blouses, "Daisy Duke" style shorts, spray on tans and no bras.. Kind of interesting, sort of a "Hooters cabin style".. with these young women making everybody "feel right at home" with friendly conversation with
half their boobs within a foot of sight. I would think any straight guy would probably fall over.

Lauren told us "to come visit her" again.. just ask for her up front (what is this place...LOL?) The food was excellent. My bf ordered a meat loaf and I ordered a salad. I did leave a comment on the card they left...

"Bring on the shirtless men", lets make this a "coed hooters"...

    ^^^ spaghettimonster promotes this comment

But it is the BEST cheap, bring-me-a-beer-wench place to watch UFC (if you are into that sort of thing.)

Not by my own choice, I have ended up eating at places similar to that. They make my skin crawl.......It's so......"straight!"

Once, I ended up having dinner with some co-workers and we all went to Hooters. I felt like a person of color sitting at a 1950's lunch counter in the rural deep south.........

Well duh! That's why no straight guys go to those kinds of places...only closeted "bi" guys who come in with each other and leave with each other...usually without any waitress's contact info. icon_wink.gif
