My red shirt has turned all my washing pink - it was in a cold wash at 40 degrees with dark colours. But some of my clothes are now pink! ;-(

Guess I'm going to have buy some new clothes. Grrr. Fucking Gap.

Also be careful with showering. Your redhead might leech. icon_lol.gif

    Ok, lame joke. icon_rolleyes.gif

Don't you know? Pink is the new black! icon_cool.gif

Actually I was going to say something like what Sedative just said....LOLicon_smile.gif

Anything like a bright red shirt, a standout color, I'd never mix em. I like bright colors myself and always try to wash the right way. Smaller wash loads more frequently.. but at least you don't have a tubful of pink clothes.

    Did you already dry them?

If you wash them again right away in cold water with detergent and a color safe bleach it might come out.

Do people still wash clothes? Geez, what a waste of electricity or gas. Learn to tolerate bad smells.

Speaking of....some friggin moron (...who, moi??) left a tube of chapstick in a pocket last time he did laundry and left chapstick oil spots all over a favorite shirt. Anybody have any ideas on how to get those out??

Yes....rub the shirt over your lips until the Chapstick comes off. It works. I promise.

Try rubbing some Dawn dishwashing liquid on the spot and rewashing in warm water - works wonders for grease spots... (Damn - I feel like I should be wearing my heels and an apron...:rollicon_smile.gif

One of my favorites is "Wine Away" - I found it after I accidentally got some red wine spots on my new Paul Smith shirt. Works like a charm! I wonder if it would work on some posts as well? We could call it "Whine Away" icon_rolleyes.gif

I once washed a feather pillow (by itself), no problem, so I thought !!! this is a success, so I'll dry it in the dryer. NOOOOOOOOOT a good Idea !!! Feathers went everywhere when I opened the door !!!! and feathers showed up in my cloths for nearly a month afterwards !!!!

You can try taking it to a dry cleaner to see whether they can do something with it.
